Grief
Support
This
section has been developed to help you understand
the relationship between death, funerals and the strong emotional feelings
of grief that most people experience surrounding the death of a loved
one or friend. If you have experienced a loss, this is in no way intended
to serve as counselor or sole source of information when working through
your particular experience. Simply, it serves as an opportunity to learn
a basic understanding of grief and how funerals play a vital role in the
mental health and recovery of the bereaved.
The
only people capable of understanding grief
are those who walk in grief's heavy shoes.
The only people capable of surviving grief
are those who allow themselves to
share their grief with others.
