Brian and Rod, My brother’s mother-in-law passed away two weeks after mom. Unfortunately, family members other than Bill and I opted to use another funeral home. Bill has told me often lately of the HUGE differences between your services and theirs. It’s just to say that you guys are absolutely wonderful. Bill and I both treasure the relationship that we have with you both. Your business ethics are phenomenal; the compassion and caring are beyond remarkable. You made what was a very difficult time so much more bearable for all of us. Wish there were more out there like you. Love you dearly.

Wakeman Funeral Home has always been the choice for when a death has taken place in our family. I have family members who remember your father, Harold, and the compassion and family service you provide in the time of a loss of a loved one. My mother, Sharon Talley, felt nothing but trust when she pre-planned her funeral. I felt nothing but trust when we lost her almost five years ago. My sister and I were surrounded by both of you as we planned her funeral. I, myself, asked to help dress my mother for her showing, and although you were concerned that it could be too much to deal with you supported the fact I wanted to and you assisted me. I will not forget the peace I felt as I fixed my mom's hair and watched as you got her ready. This would be the last thing I could do for my mom as she had done so much for me. I felt her spirit there and it gave me peace. Wakeman's is about family, and when a family loses a loved one, support and kindness is what they need to surround them. As long as I can remember, when a loss has happened in my family, Wakeman Funeral Home is the family we have turned to.
