Mrs. Carol Mae Rosa

Mrs. Carol Mae Rosa Saginaw Twp., Michigan Carol Mae Rosa passed away on Palm Sunday, April 2, 2023, at her home. She was 89 years old. Carol Mae (Fischer) Rosa was born on August 27, 1933, in Bridgeport, Michigan, to the late Clarence and Iola (Seder) Fischer. She was married to Richard C. Rosa on February 12, 1955. After 66 years of marriage, Richard predeceased her on June 27, 2021. Carol is also survived by her children and their spouses, Cheryl (Larry) Meyer, Michael (Theresa) Rosa; her grandchildren, Casey (Erin) McMann, Rory (Maggie) McMann, Brody McMann, Jessica (Graham) Yinger, Jeffrey Jiron, Jamie Rosa (Colton McDonald), Jacob Rosa and Rocco Rosa; her great-grandchildren, Jayce Rosa, Nash Yinger, Vaughn Yinger, and Ryder McDonald; her in-laws, Joyce Fischer, Bonnie (Dick) Newman, Mary Rosa, and Delta Rosa; several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and dear friends. Carol was also predeceased by her brother, Orville Fischer, her in-laws, Norman Rosa and Larry Rosa, Timothy Rosa and Mary Rosa. Prior to her retirement, Carol worked as a bookkeeper at Fischer-Flack for several years. Carol was a long-time member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, where she served on the funeral committee, enjoyed her Bible study on Wednesdays and OWLs luncheon on Fridays. Her hobbies and past-times included sharing time with her husband traveling, winters in Texas, music and Moscato. Carol's funeral service will be held 12:00 noon on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5335 Brockway Road, Saginaw Twp., MI. The Rev. Paul Biber will officiate. Carol will then be laid to rest next to her husband, Richard, in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Wakeman Funeral Home, 1218 N. Michigan Ave., Saginaw, Michigan on Tuesday, April 11, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., then at the Church on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
