Dianne K. Harvey Our sweet mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend - better known as “Gigi” - Dianne K. Harvey passed away peacefully at home, exactly where she wanted to be on Thursday, June 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 83 years old. Dianne was born on October 29, 1941, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Russell F. and Irene F. (Johnston) Korbein. On August 27, 1960, she married the love of her life, Thomas J. Harvey. They shared 56 wonderful years together before his passing on August 18, 2016. Dianne had a deep love for all animals, especially birds and the many dogs and cats she welcomed into her home over the years. Her current tabby cat, Lillie, brought her much comfort and companionship. Above all, Dianne found her greatest happiness in her family. She was incredibly proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and loved each of them with all her heart. Her kindness, resilience, and loving nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Surviving are her children and their spouses: Thomas R. (Denise) Harvey, Lesli A. (Robert) Landeryou, and Lance F. (Amy) Harvey; her cherished grandchildren: Erica (James) Coffey, Kendra Harvey, Jordan Z. Harvey, Hadley (Brendan) Van Iten, Ashlyn, Kyle, Camryn, Kody Landeryou, Jordan D. Harvey, Kennedy (Kyle) Rivette, Hayden (Kelsey) Harvey, and Reiss Harvey; and her adored great-grandchildren: Grayson, Gavin Tom, Harper, Brantley, and Connor. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as her only brother, Dick Korbein; in-laws, Dale Harvey, Barb (Lee) Ribble, and Pam Harvey; and her special lifelong friends, Jo Ellen Oppenheiser and Maggie Mayer, and co-worker turned helpmate, confidant & sidekick, Carol White. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc., 1218 N. Michigan Avenue. Pastor Tom Dinan will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Worth mentioning is the deep gratitude Dianne felt for the phenomenal care she received over the years from all the many staff members employed by Covenant Healthcare where kindness and compassion were regularly shared with a smile. Additionally, Fresenius Kidney Care Riverside became like a second family to Dianne, where all staff and fellow patients were deeply appreciated and loved.
