Mrs. Janet A. Wiles

Wiles, Mrs. Janet A., Spaulding Twp., Michigan Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020, at Covenant Medical Center – Cooper. She was 73 years old. Janet Ann (Jacques) Wiles was born on June 7, 1947, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Raymond H. and Ethel M. (Liebrock) Jacques. She was married to David G. Wiles on April 18, 1970, in Freeland, Michigan. He predeceased her on January 8, 2016. Surviving are two sons and one daughter and their spouses, Brian Wiles, Bradley Wiles and Beth Ann (Jason) Albrough; four grandchildren, Sammantha Baumgartner, Stephany Wiles, Macy Spalding, Zachary Wiles; great-grandson, Kenneth Pelepchuk; two brothers, Richard O. Jacques and Raymond A. (Doris) Jacques; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joyce (Ronald) Sawatzke, Ronald (Carol) Wiles and Donald (Sharon) Wiles; several nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, and her brother, David Jacques. Janet enjoyed spending time with her family. She also had many close friends that she enjoyed visiting with. Her faith was strong. She truly enjoyed going to church and lending a helping hand when and where she could. She had a special place in her heart for animals, having cared for family pets over the years, just as she did her own children. Her many talents included crafting, flower arrangements and sewing were some of the past-times she enjoyed. If you needed a wreath bow made, she could tie a perfect one before you could even blink an eye. In accordance with family wishes, cremation will take place. Due to the on-going health crisis, distancing is suggested and masks are required. Janet’s memorial committal will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2020, in Spaulding Township Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
