Sally A. Kluck

Mrs. Sally (Sorgatz) Kluck Thomas Twp., Michigan Sally passed away peacefully on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Wellspring Senior Living Campus, Saginaw, Michigan, at the age of 93. A devoted member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Sally found joy in her faith and cherished the family traditions that brought her loved ones together year after year. She was always known for her warm smile, devotion to her Savior and family, and compassion for people. Because of this, Sally’s life was filled with service to her church, family business and community. Sally was born on July 20, 1933, in Saginaw to the late Frank and Ruth Sorgatz. On August 23, 1952, she married Gerald (Jerry) Kluck, her beloved husband of sixty years. Jerry was called home to his Lord on September 25, 2012. Along with her husband Jerry, son Tom, and in-laws Ed and Ruth Kluck, they owned and operated Kluck Nursery. Sally and Jerry both retired from the family business in 1999. Surviving are her three children and their spouses, Judy (Tom) Resler, Linda (Alan) Nuechterlein, all of Frankenmuth, and Thomas (Karen) Kluck, Thomas Twp; seven grandchildren, Brooke (Justin) Finkbeiner, Jamie (fiancé Daniel Ahiakpor) Resler, Micah (Melanie) Nuechterlein, Eric (Sarah) Nuechterlein, Jake (fiancée Mallory Schneider) Nuechterlein, Tyler (Tara) Kluck, and Karina (Chad) Thayer; seven great-grandchildren, Trace, Brady, Eli and Drew Finkbeiner, Dax and Lennon Nuechterlein, and Carson Kluck; brother James (Marian) Sorgatz; and many special nieces, nephews and cousins. Sally was predeceased by her parents, father and mother-in-law Walter and Frieda Kluck; in-laws, Jack and Eleanore Schaper, Howard and Nancy Wintermeyer, Edward and Ruth Kluck, and Harold Kluck. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers of Wellspring Senior Living and Wellspring Hospice for the care, compassion, and kindness shown to Sally and her family. The Celebration of Sally’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 600 Court St., Saginaw. The Reverend Harry Edenfield will officiate the service with burial in Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, officiated by the Reverend Nate Guelzow. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Wakeman Funeral Home Inc., 1218 N. Michigan Ave., Saginaw, on Friday, August 7, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Sally’s beloved Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
