Bruce W. Westphal

Mr. Bruce W. Westphal, Saginaw, Michigan Loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at Covenant Medical Center-Cooper, at the age of 85 years. Bruce Walter Westphal was born on February 2, 1936, in Saginaw, to the late Walter and Gladys (Pohlman) Westphal. He married Wilma Esther (Ranke) Westphal on February 25, 1955, in Saginaw, and after 63 years of marriage, Wilma predeceased him on June 17, 2018. Bruce is survived by his children, Debbie Westphal Blair (David), Steve Westphal, Sherry Westphal Charbonneau (Paul), Shelly Westphal Fulton, Amy Westphal; his grandchildren, Ryan & Breeann Baz, Justin (Helena) Fulton, Jordan (Danielle) Fulton, Jared (Amanda) Fulton, Jacob (Danielle) Fulton, Aaron (Andrea) Charbonneau, Shelby Charbonneau and fiancee’ Paul Spann; his great-grandchildren, McKella Wagle, Camden Fulton, Jaydin Johnson-Fulton, Julianna Johnson-Fulton, Bella Kipfmiller, Logan Westphal, Landon Baz, Avery and Adelyn Charbonneau, Caiden Hanna, Zooie and Maverick Fulton, Hanson Fulton; his brother and wife, James (Carol) Westphal; his in-laws, Donna Pavlo, Kathy (Jim) Jordan; also several nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends, along with his dog Lemon. Bruce was also predeceased by his son, Charles (Chuck) Westphal; his sister and brother-in-law Maxine and Robert Kretz, his brother Walter Westphal, Jr.; his in-laws Phyllis and Donald Himmelspach, Billy, Charles and Reuben Ranke, John Pavlo and several other relatives. Prior to his retirement, Bruce worked as a jobsetter for General Motors for 30 years, as well as a retired painter. He enjoyed hunting, spending time with his family, traveling to Florida and feeding the squirrels. In accordance with Bruce’s wishes, cremation will take place.
