    Edwina L. Riedlinger

    February 8, 1928 - October 27, 2009

    Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Lois was born on February 8, 1928 in Saginaw and married Robert L. Riedlinger on June 5, 1948. A devoted wife of 61 years, she is survived by her husband, her six sons and their families; Robert Riedlinger and Anne Gilhuly of Stanley, Idaho; Gary and Lyn Riedlinger, of Essexville, MI; Thomas and Shelley Riedlinger, of Saginaw, MI ; David and Iona Riedlinger, of Tuscan, Arizona; Donald and Terry Riedlinger of Saginaw; Dale Riedlinger of Bay City and Lonnie Kolmodin of Bay City. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren to whom she devoted so much of her time and energy. Lois was predeceased by her two sisters, Mary Jane Baxter and Loraine Borle.   Funeral and committal services will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009, at Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc., 1218 N. Michigan Ave. The Rev. Douglas W. Kahl will officiate. Friends are welcome to visit at Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., then on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials may be given to the Ronald McDonald House or VNA Hospice-Partners in Caring. Memories and sympathies may be shared with the family online at WakemanFuneralHome.com
