Katherine (Kitty) Heinzman passed away peacefully on Oct. 17, 2017, at HealthSource of Saginaw. Kitty was born in 1916 and saw 101 years of fulfilling life. She was predeceased by her husband Norman in 1985, after almost 50 years of marriage. She also was predeceased by two brothers, Alex and John and two sisters, Elizabeth and Irene. Kitty loved the outdoors and spent many hours fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and playing horseshoes. She also enjoyed bowling and card playing. In her later years she created ceramic pieces and crafts that she shared and gifted to members of the family. She was also a selfless volunteer for needy organizations and spent the better part of three decades as a volunteer at the Saginaw County Hospital, later to become HealthSource of Saginaw. The family wishes to thank the staff and employees at HealthSource of Saginaw for their compassionate care over the last several years. For those who wish to express their sympathies please consider a donation to HealthSource of Saginaw. A private service will be held for family and close friends at a later date.
