Mrs. Margaret Ann Piwowarski Burt, Michigan A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Covenant Medical Center – Cooper. She was 86 years old. Margaret Ann (Fries) Piwowarski was born on May 19, 1934, in Saginaw, MI, to the late Peter and Lydia (Foss) Fries. Margaret was married to Raymond Piwowarski on December 5, 1953. Margaret is survived by her husband, Ray and their children, Vickie Montney, Steven (Debra) Piwowarski, Kenneth (Laura) Piwowarski, Timothy (Christine) Piwowarski; Eleven grandchildren, Joel (Landie) Stover, Carrie (Craig) Pudas, Alex Montney, Nathan (Jennifer) Piwowarski, Troy (Julia) Piwowarski, Peter Piwowarski, Michael Piwowarski, Lisa (Brandon) Hillaker, Scott (Jamie) Fortenberry, George Adelman, Emma Adelman; 10 great-grandchildren, Morgan, Colt, Leif, Zane, Madeline, Henry, Avalyn, Juliet, Milo and Erin; her sister, Sharon (Larry) Lacy; brother-in-law, John Bruns; sisters-in-law, Sally Fries and Paula Brenner; also nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, dear friends and also the special family of Pete and Meredith Adelman. She was predeceased by her brothers, Duane and Ronald and her sister, Shirley Bruns. Margaret’s hobbies and past-times included going to auctions and collecting dolls, but especially spending time with family. Margaret’s visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Wakeman Funeral Home, 1218 N. Michigan Ave, Saginaw, MI. Her funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Tom Dinan will officiate. Margaret will be laid to rest in Pine Grove Cemetery, Albee Twp. with a private family committal.
