    Mrs. Marjorie Clark

    December 31, 1925 - June 19, 2015

    CLARK, MRS. MARJORIE, Vassar, Michigan Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away Friday, June 19, 2015, at home surrounded by her loving family. Age 89 years. Marjorie Campbell was born on December 31, 1925, in Detroit to the late Clifford and Bessie (Dean) Campbell. She was married to George William Clark, Jr. on June 8, 1957, at First Presbyterian Church in Saginaw. He survives her. Marge enjoyed playing and watching golf, tennis, reading and was an avid Boston Terrier lover. She adored her grandchildren and her grand-dogs. She had traveled extensively before settling in Vassar. Prior to her retirement, Marge had worked as a bookkeeper at the Clark Funeral Home in Vassar and Fairgrove. Surviving besides her husband Bill, are their children; Kathleen (Doug) Hunter, Lynda Clark, Lisa (Chris) Stearnes, Billy (Jennifer) Clark; grandchildren, Jesse Noah, Abby Noah, Jordan Stearnes, and Ashley Clark; great-grandchildren, Chloe Noah, Chase Blair, and Chloe Blair; sister, Nancy Harden; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Barbara Miller; her brothers, Donald Campbell, Clifford Campbell, Richard Campbell, granddaughter Sherisa Burgess. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at the Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc., 1218 N. Michigan Ave., Saginaw. The Rev. Max McCloud will officiate. A private family committal will follow at the Brookside Cemetery in Fairgrove, MI. Friends are welcome to visit with the family on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., then on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be given to the Clark family.
