Michael J. McInnis Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

McInnis, Michael James Bay City, Michigan Mike passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at McLaren Bay Region, at the age of 64. Michael James McInnis was born on May 11, 1957, in Saginaw, to the late William and Betty (Pettit) McInnis. He married Linda Kay (Nunamaker) McInnis on December 14, 1988, and she survives him. Mike is also survived by his sons, Sean McInnis and Jeremy McInnis; his sister and brother-in-law, Sharon (Don) Raasch; his brother and sister-in-law, Bill (Annajeanelle) McInnis; his sister-in-law, Nora McInnis; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. Mike was also predeceased by his brother, John McInnis and his nephew, Christopher McInnis. Prior to his retirement, Mike was employed as a letter carrier for the United State Postal Service. His carrier routes were within Bay City, Michigan. Mike’s hobbies included golf and he was an avid University of Michigan, Detroit Lions and Detroit Red Wings fan. In accordance with Mike’s wishes, cremation will take place. The family will be planning for Mike's Celebration of Life and to be laid to rest with his parents in Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery in Saginaw Township, Michigan at a later date.
