Wilinski, Mr. Richard E. Birch Run, Michigan Richard passed away at his home on Thursday, May 14, 2020, at the age of 85 years. Richard E. Wilinski was born on February 26, 1935, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Louis and Elizabeth (Somek) Wilinski. He married Agnes (Dewey) Wilinski on May 9, 1959, having just celebrated 61 years of marriage. Agnes survives him. He is also survived by his five children and their spouses, Linda (Kenneth) Mossner, Birch Run, MI, Robert (Janet) Wilinski, Thompsonville, MI, John Wilinski, Birch Run, MI, Mark (Amy) Wilinski, Frankenmuth, MI, Thomas Wilinski and his friend, Sherry, Birch Run, MI; his grandchildren, Kurtis (Kaitlin) and Kaleb Mossner, John Polzin, Christopher (Lauren) Polzin, James Wilinski, Justin Wateridge, Makayla, Blake, Adam, Alex, Ashlyn, Alexandria, Aiden, Aron Wilinski, Miranda Wilinski, Makenzie (Kevin) Whitaker; his great grandchildren, Lilly and Bryson; his sisters, Rose Marie Kisser Lupton, Saginaw, MI, and Beverly Bush, Saginaw, MI; several nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and dear friends. Richard was also predeceased by his brother, Marvin Wilinski. Richard served in the United States Army. Prior to his retirement, Richard had worked for Drapers as an auto body repairman for 37 years. During his high school days at Saginaw High, Richard was a track star, having won 13 medals and three State Championships. In accordance with Richard’s wishes, cremains has taken place. The Wilinski family are inviting friends to share in the Celebration of Richard’s Life at the Birch Run Township Cemetery, on Dixie Hwy, Birch Run, Michigan, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 14, 2020, with Military Honors conducted under the auspices of V.F.W.
