Roger D. Clare Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Roger D. Clare Hemlock, Michigan Roger passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at Covenant Medical Center – Harrison, following a lengthy battle with heart and kidney disease, and dementia. He was 64 years old. Roger Duane Clare was born on March 30, 1956, in Saginaw. Roger had been married to the love of his life, Nancy J. (LeClair) Clare for 40 years, and she survives him. He is also survived by his children, Paige Clare (Josh Wilson), Dillon Clare, and Grace Clare; his mother, Marilyn Clare; his mother-in-law, Catherine LeClair; his brother, Rodney (Linda) Clare; his sisters, Becky (Ken) Trudgen and Rhonda (David) Watson; several special nieces, nephews and cousins; his aunts and uncles, Betty Claus, Joan Clare, Dorothy Leppert, and Ronald (Beverly) Hallman. Roger was predeceased by his father, Arden Clare and father-in-law, Bill LeClair. Roger was known for his constant smile and loved to make everyone laugh. His passions were spending time with his family, and anything motorized. He was a mechanic and service manager in his earlier years. Later he became self-employed in real estate and enjoyed fixing up houses with his father. In accordance with Roger’s wishes his body is to be donated to the University of Michigan – Anatomical Program. The family will have a private memorial gathering hosted at the Wakeman Funeral Home, 1218 N. Michigan Ave., Saginaw, MI.
