Warnke, Scott Patrick Westland, Michigan Scott passed away unexpectedly at his home in Westland, Michigan on Sunday, July 5, 2020. He was 38 years old. Scott Patrick Warnke was born on November 12, 1981, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the middle child of 8 children born to Ronald and Mary (Hartel) Warnke. Scott is survived by his loving parents and his five sisters and two brothers, Erin Warnke, Katie Krauss, Megan (Tom) Johnson, Molly (Eric) Rauschert, Kara Warnke, Ryan (Selena) Warnke, Kyle (Stacy) Warnke; dear friend, Brooke Gomez; 11 nieces and nephews, Lou, Hailee, Brooke and Isaac Krauss, Grace and Samuel Redwanz, Jackson and Benjamin Rauschert, Azel and Hartlyn Warnke, Micah Johnson. Scott was a graduate of Valley Lutheran High School. He was currently employed as manager and veterinary tech. at the Healthy Paws Veterinary Medical Center in Westland, Michigan. Scott taught Ariel Silks and performed in many plays at Pit and Balcony. Scott was a great son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was so much fun, smart, witty and caring. He loved holidays and spent hours prepping Christmas with mom on his time off from work. He had the absolute best Halloween costumes and his birthday is an actual holiday celebrated like anyone has ever witnessed. Everyone came out to celebrate with him each year and dressed up in whatever theme was selected. The amount of people that loved him was large. He loved singing loudly, karaoke, and dancing. But he was more than that. He was the type of person that would loan you every cent he had to help out. He gave the most thoughtful gifts and wrapped them with love and care and were often activities designed to spend time together. He loved hanging out at the pool and spending time with his nieces and nephews, including trips to the theater in Detroit. Scott rescued every animal that he came into contact with. He loved the ones that were left behind by others giving them a great life and family at his home. He was the proud pet dad of Pip, Gwen, Butter and the late Peanut. He was proud of who he was and fought for equality while quietly helping others that were struggling with depression and hard life choices. Scott actually gave you the shirt off his back. The best memories of him will always be when he was laughing, living life and taking unplanned trips to the places he loved; Detroit and Chicago. We are thankful for the years we were given. In accordance with family wishes, cremation has taken place. The Celebration of Scott’s Life will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2020, at St. John Amelith Lutheran Church, 1664 Amelith Road, Bay City, Michigan, with a gathering from 1:00 p.m to 3:00 p.m., outside in the grove.
