He was born February 11th 1955 in Greenvile, Mississippi. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle/great uncle, father and grandfather. He was preceded in departure by his mother, Rowena Acoff, and sisters Demetric A. Acoff, Alfreda D. Acoff, Tanya C. Acoff and Alethea Acoff. Levi leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter; Dee Robinson, his father; Levi Acoff Sr.; Siblings, Linda J. Acoff, Rowena Acoff, Annetta I. Acoff; Nieces and Nephews, Maurice (Linda) Acoff, Vernice Baiden, Lamont (Kimberly) Acoff, Calvin D. Johnson, Deonte' J. Johnson, and Ti'ara A. Acoff; great-nieces and nephews, Camrin Napper, Marcellus Acoff, Makayla Acoff, Kyah J. Acoff, Laila S. Acoff, Saniyah Rose A. Acoff, De'Andre L Minniefield III, Kimani Acoff, Kassidi Acoff, Joshua Acoff and Kamylah Acoff, and former wife, Gwen Nash. He was the oldest and only son of 8 children. Having 7 sisters he looked after them, and taught them many things. Levi was very street wise and had a great sense of humor, he was hilarious! He enjoyed baking and cooking. He was also an amazing chess player, known for outsmarting his opponents. He also loved traveling! Levi was known for helping his friends and family get to wherever they needed to go. He was Uber before there was one! He later began to learn from the Bible. While battling many illnesses, he found comfort in the scripture at Revelation 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more. The former things have passed away.” He also found comfort in the resurrection hope promised in the Bible at John 5:28, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out”. We look forward to reuniting with him in the near future on a Paradise earth!
